Each participant who crosses the finish line will be presented with a commemorative finisher’s medal by an Air Force Senior Leader. Along with the medallions, there will be over 300 uniquely designed awards presented to overall and age category winners. Note that only awards in bold will be presented at the Awards Ceremony. All age group category awards will be sent by mail once results are confirmed by our timing contractor and photos with bibs are verified (typically in November).

Awards for the overall winners and overall military winners will be based on gun time as noted; age group winners will be determined by chip time. Chip times will be used for your official running time and on your certificate of race completion. 

Awards for the marathon will be given to the overall men’s and women’s first place, overall military men’s and women’s first place, men’s and women’s handcrank, men’s and women’s push run wheelchair, and men’s and women’s mobility impaired. Awards will be given to the first, second, and third place finishers in the following age groups for both men and women: 16-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, and 80+.

Awards for the half marathon will be given to the overall men’s and women’s first place and overall military men’s and women’s first place. Awards will be given to the first, second, and third place finishers in the following age groups for both men and women: 14 & under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, and 80+.

Awards for the 10K will be given to the overall men’s and women’s first place and overall military men’s and women’s first place. Awards will be given to the first, second, and third place finishers in the following age groups for both men and women: 14 & under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, and 80+.

Awards for the 5K will be given to the overall men’s and women’s first place, overall military men’s and women’s first place, overall men’s and women’s Wright State University affiliated, men’s and women’s handcrank, and men’s and women’s push run wheelchair. Awards will be given to the first, second, and third place finishers in the following age groups for both men and women: 14 & under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, and 80+.

Awards for the 3-Person Marathon Relay will be given to the overall men’s and women’s first place team, overall men’s and women’s military first place team, and overall mixed men’s/women’s first place team and overall military mixed men’s/women’s first place team.

Awards for the Fly! Fight! Win! Challenge will be given to overall men’s and women’s first place, overall men’s military and women’s military first place, men’s and women’s second place, and men’s and women’s third place.
